THE FOREVEREST COLLECTION

THE FOREVEREST COLLECTION is an award-winning integrated campaign for The North Face that transforms over 40 tons of waste from Mount Everest into high-performance, limited-edition gear. By repurposing discarded tents and oxygen canisters into storytelling artifacts, the project honors the legacy of legendary climbers while establishing a model for responsible climbing culture. This initiative proves that sustainability and performance can coexist through innovative circular design.

A Sustainable Initiative Turning Everest's Waste into Gear

As an exploration-focused brand, this campaign addresses the harsh reality of environmental damage on Everest by creating a symbolic 'souvenir' available exclusively at Everest base camp stores. The collection includes jackets inspired by mountaineering legends, which serve as both functional equipment and high-value artifacts. By establishing waste collection stations where climbers can exchange trash for essential gear, the project encourages active participation in preserving the mountain. This campaign effectively puts the brand’s values into action, transforming environmental responsibility into a prestigious and tangible consumer experience.
